In our class we love GoNoOdle. We use it for brain breaks and for D.P.A. (Daily Physical Activity). There are multiple categories that provide fun for everyone. GoNoOdle has suggested having students and parents create accounts at home to help keep students active over the summer. If you are interested in doing so please use my personalized invite: https://www.gonoodle.com/s/mwillford

Grasslands Family Literacy Night
Tonight Grasslands held it 2nd annual Family Literacy Night. It was exciting to see all the ways that the schools in our division are promoting literacy. I loved seeing all the families that came out to participate. I really enjoy interacting with my students outside of school. Thanks to Cenovus for hosting the BBQ!

The Clothespin Challenge
Today we started the Clothespin Challenge! Every student who earned 5 points got to pin their clothespin on me. Giggles ensued as the first clothespin was pinned to my sweater and the excitement continued throughout the afternoon as more were added. I got a few strange looks and one of my students said that I looked weird but it was a lot of fun. I'd love to say that this was my brilliant idea but I got this idea from a teaching colleague I network with in the United States.
